Contact Maria if you would like to collaborate on a film.
Maria Ingold recently shot two short documentaries as part of intensive training through the Documentary Filmmakers Group at the Film Farm in Kotla, Poland. She was director and editor of Brick Noise and cinematographer on My Daddy is a Fireman.
Maria's passion for film comes from her involvement as a film judge in BAFTA, her day-to-day working life at FilmFlex Movies and her love of creativity. She most enjoys being behind the camera to get beautiful but eerie shots. Her years of art training give her a good eye and a real passion behind the lens.
Maria has studied both at London Film Academy's Panico and through the Documentary Filmmakers Group. These courses have given her practical experience in most film making roles including directing, editing, lighting, filming, acting and script writing. She is a member of Shooting People: http://www.shootingpeople.org/cards/mireality
Demonstrating the many strings to her bow, Maria has also worked for 18 years in the creative use of technology. She is also currently writing a graphic novel, based on ideas inspired by dreams, living in Highgate and travelling. In addition to this, she is a film, TV and interactive judge for BAFTA, which she finds incredibly rewarding.
